Our subsidiary Helbako Electronica in Romania (Timisoara) also performed excellently in 2020.
A wide range of products is now manufactured at this site, including for our customers BMW, VW and Daimler. 120 employees are actively engaged here; 26 of them work in the development area and support our development center in Heiligenhaus.
It goes without saying that we also fully meet the high quality requirements of the automotive industry in Timisoara, as evidenced by the latest IATF certification. The total turnover of Helbako Electronica is now almost 20 million euros with a production rate of 2.8 million modules per year.
But what makes Helbako Electronica so successful? This is certainly due in particular to the motivated and competent Romanian colleagues, who are well integrated into the Helbako network in Germany in optimally coordinated teams with flat hierarchies.
