Art action at Helbako GmbH

In the course of a Rotary meeting at Helbako GmbH, employees of the Heiligenhaus-based electronics manufacturer Dorothea Laues (sales) and Robert Harder (production and testing technology) were able to present their works of art on Monday evening.

In this art project, four large-format paintings were created in the company over a period of five months as part of a joint effort. Both artists bring a lot of experience from painting in their spare time and have chosen motifs of the city of Kiev for this joint action.

The art was created out of the desire to do something together for the people of Ukraine, and for this purpose the large-scale works are also to be sold. The depiction of the Kiev subway is only one of the paintings, which symbolically describes the misery, but also the hope of the people of Ukraine.

The idea creators were supported by Helbako GmbH in the provision of materials and premises, and the dedication of many hours of free time and artistic skill can be traced back to the commitment of these two generous employees.

At the official unveiling of the paintings, more than 50 participants of the Rotary Club Velbert and the Rotaract Club Velbert were enthusiastic about the artistic work and the commitment of the two artists on Monday. The Rotary Club of Velbert is now looking into supporting this interesting project.
